ITALY – New player shows interest in air carrier

New Italian firm GL Investimenti, led by Giovanni Malagò and Lupo Rattazzi, is looking to invest in air carrier Air One, according to reports.

Market rumours also suggest that Air One is putting together a new Italian consortium that would make an offer after the election.

The deadline for the takeover talks between the Italian carrier and Air France's KLM has been extended to Wednesday 2 April.
