
UK/GERMANY - Hawkpoint announces three new appointments
Corporate advisory firm Hawkpoint has announced three appointments, strengthening its team in the key areas of debt advisory, media advisory and its German activities.
Andrew Lynn joins the company as a director in the debt advisory team following a period at Kaupthing where he was head of the acquisition and leveraged finance team. He has also previously been a senior member of Abbey National's acquisition finance team and CSFB's leveraged finance team.
Dominic Wallis joins the company from N M Rothschild as a director in the media advisory team. He has recently advised on major transactions such as the £1.7bn auction of the live TV rights for the Premier League and Hurriyet's offer for Trader Media East. His previous work experience includes periods with Barings and law firm Simmons and Simmons.
Peter Thickett joins as a senior advisor in the German team following a period with Ermgassen, a German corporate advisory boutique. He brings with him a wealth of experience, having previously worked as head of M&A at Barclays Capital and as a managing director for Wasserstein in London. Prior to this he spent 13 years with SG Warburg and for part of this time he headed up the M&A team in Frankfurt.
