
UK - PwC appoints new head of corporate finance
PricewaterhouseCoopers has named Neil Sutton as its new head of corporate finance. A partner since 1993, he will start in his new role from 1 July 2006. Sutton has most recently led the consumer sector focus in the UK. In the last four years, he has almost quadrupled the size of this business, completing ТЃ1.7bn of deals in 2005 compared with ТЃ480m in 2002. He will be leading a business that has overtaken investment banks as the top deal adviser by volume and value to the UK market (deals of $50m-$500m).
