Silverfleet recruits two, promotes two

Silverfleet Capital has appointed Greenhill’s Peter Kisenyi as investment executive and Lazard’s Vincent Clément (pictured) as associate, while promoting Klaus Maurer and Falko Westphalen to principal.
Kisenyi, who will work from Silverfleet's London office, began his career as an analyst at Morley Fund Management. In 2010, he was recruited by investment banking firm Greenhill & Co and was eventually promoted to associate.
Clément, who will be based in Paris, was first a junior financial auditor at Deloitte, which he left in 2010 to become a junior analyst at Lazard. In July 2011, the advisory firm promoted him to associate, leading him to advise on M&A matters for transactions including the €1.6bn LBO for French animal pharmaceutical company Ceva Santé Animale by Sagard and Euromezzanine, and CVC's €880m acquisition of mortar manufacturer Parex Group, both in 2014.
Silverfleet's two newest principals, Maurer and Westphalen, will be based in the Munich office. The former joined the GP in January 2009, when he left Terra Firma, while Westphalen was recruited in 2010 as an investment executive following a stint as analyst at investment firm Jefferies.
The wave of appointments at Silverfleet is the second in the space of a year. In October 2014, the GP announced it had named Jean Châtillon as principal in its Paris office and bolstered its Munich team with the hires of associates Benjamin Hubner and Jennifer Regehr.
Silverfleet held a €850m final close for its latest fund in June this year, exceeding the €700m target set when fundraising began in late 2014.
