Macquarie Capital appoints CVC's Devos
Macquarie Capital, the corporate advisory division of Macquarie Group, has appointed former CVC industrial partner Frédéric Devos as global head of portfolio management.
In his newly created role, Devos will be based in London and will report to global head of principal transactions Alex Harvey.
Alongside managing the firm's balance sheet investments, Devos will work alongside Daniel Wong, head of Macquarie Capital Europe, sourcing partnership investment opportunities. He specialises in utilities and infrastructure investments.
Devos joins Macquarie from CVC Capital Partners, where he was an industrial partner for the firm's infrastructure business. Prior to joining CVC, he spent 20 years working at French utilities company Veolia, and was CEO of Veolia Water UK, Ireland and Northern Europe from 2007-2012.
