UK - Endless acquires British Bookshops and Stationers
Turnaround specialist Endless has acquired beleaguered British Bookshops and Stationers for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition follows the firm's previous buyout of discount book chain The Works. The private equity firm, however, has no plans to merge British Bookshops with The Works at this stage.
Seperately, Endless has promoted Simon Mason to associate director in its London office to build the firm's activities in the South East. He transfers from Endless' Birmingham operations.
