Blackstone hires Higgins to healthcare team

Higgins will join Lodewijk de Vink and Doug Rogers at Blackstone Healthcare Partners, providing his expertise and knowledge of the industry to facilitate Blackstone's activities in the sector.

Previously, Higgins was chairman of Bayer HealthCare for more than four years, having spent the previous 18 months as chairman of its executive committee. He holds a number of positions in healthcare-related associations and sits on the board of Zimmer Inc, Eco Labs and Resverlogix Corp.
