DN Capital hires Misek as venture partner
DN Capital has appointed Peter Misek as venture partner.
Misek has been an adviser at DN since its creation in 2000. In his new role, he will split his time between North America and Europe, focusing on existing portfolio management and deal sourcing.
He will also focus heavily on expanding DN's presence in Canada and the west coast of America, where he will work alongside Steve Schlenker, co-founder and managing partner of DN's US operations.
Early in his career, Misek worked at NM Rothschild, where he launched the company's internet and technology global practice. He then joined Hambrecht and Quist as a sell-side analyst covering global internet stocks. After that, he worked at Scotia Capital, followed by Canaccord, where he was head of research. In his most recent analyst role, he was co-head of the global tech team at Jefferies.
DN has bolstered its headcount in recent weeks; earlier this month, the investor hired Frank Kelcz as venture partner.
