Pinsent Masons and McGrigors set to merge
International law firm Pinsent Masons and UK firm McGrigors have agreed to merge, while keeping the trade name Pinsent Masons.
The proposed merger had been subject to approval through a partner vote.
Following the merger, Pinsent Masons will have 1,500 lawyers and 1,000 other staff. A third of the firm's lawyers will operate from its headquarters in London.
The company is planning to add two offices in France and Germany to expand its international profile, which already includes offices in Qatar, Dubai and Asia-Pacific.
