UK - Atlas exits Koodos

Details of the transaction were not diclosed, though the deal is funded in both cash and shares.

UK-based Koodos offers consumers discounts of up to 80%. Atlas initially invested start-up capital into the business in December 2006, eventually going on to commit $10m of funding.

e-trader specialises in the clearence and overstock sector by offering retailers and manufacturers access to both the trade and consumer markets via one single easy-to-use online platform. The purchase of Koodos will allow e-Trader to enter the consumer market and broaden its offering to retailers and manufacturers.
