
NETHERLANDS - PGGM to invest in Cyrte
Press reports suggest that Dutch pension fund PGGM will invest EUR 500m in the recently launched TMT fund managed by Cyrte Investments.
The fund is managed by Dutch media entrepreneur John de Mol, and has a target of between EUR 1bn to EUR 1.5bn. Cyrte Investments, formerly known as Talpa Capital, focuses on investments in both listed and unquoted companies in thetelecom, media and technology sectors and displays no geographical preference. Earlier in February, the fund announced that NIBC had taken a 25% stake in the fund.
