CapMan's fund advisory business rebrands to Scala
Nordic asset manager CapMan has rebranded its fund advisory business to Scala Fund Advisory.
Set up as an independent partnership of CapMan, Scala was established around 15 years ago to provide fund-related services to the private equity industry. The business offers fundraising and investor relations services to GPs; it also serves institutional investors with regards to private equity portfolio management and secondary fund market analysis.
The business is currently working with a variety of client types, including Nordic real estate, private debt and activist investors. On the pan-European side, the company is involved with venture capital and infrastructure funds. Scala has raised more than €3bn across the various strategies since inception, according to the business.
CapMan stated that expanding its services business remains an important part of its strategy, leading to the establishment of Scala as a standalone brand.
