UK - Carlyle appoints director of distressed investments
The Carlyle Group has hired Ian Jackson as director of Carlyle Strategic Partners (CSP), its global distressed and corporate opportunities group that invests in debt and equity of financially distressed companies.
CSP invests in the secondary trading markets as well as on a structured and private equity basis. The group is currently investing its USD 1.35bn fund, Carlyle Strategic Partners II.
