FRANCE - Evolem purchases majority stake in Edé Ruy
Evolem has taken a majority share in Edé Ruy, a producer and distributor of food products to the restaurant sector.
Edé Ruy offers 500 different food products and has around 2,500 clients in the restaurant sector around France. Evolem will seek to create synergies between Edé Ruy and two other food-based portfolio companies, Interface and Proalim. The company, founded in 1922, is based in Vénissieux in the Rhône Alpes region. It had a turnover of EUR 9m in 2008 and has 43 employees.
