
FRANCE - Avenir and SocGen support Capitaine Fracasse MBI
Avenir Entreprises and Société Générale Capital Partenaires have purchased an equal minority stake in boat restaurant operator Capitaine Fracasse in an MBI deal alongside manager Olivier Jamey.
Capitaine Fracasse was founded in 2008 and has two restaurant-boats operating on the seine river in Paris. The 'Le Capitaine Fracasse' and 'Les Calanques' have a capacity of 250 and 400 respectively. A new boat, 'Le Paris en Scène', will be launched in May 2009. The company generated a turnover of EUR 6.8m in 2008, a figure with the company hopes to double in the next five years. The business employs 27 people.
