Klenk joins Alvarez & Marsal

In his new role, based in the firm's London office, Klenk will also support A&M's consumer goods practice.

Klenk was previously CEO of Foxtrot Ukraine in Moldova, an electronics and home appliances retailer with a $1.2bn turnover and 250 outlets. Other senior roles include eight years with Wal-Mart International, where he served as chief marketing officer, board member and senior vice president of merchandise.

Klenk also serves as a supervisory board member for Rösch Swiss and is a senior adviser for Mediobanca, Ohshadbank and EBRD.
