FRANCE - Duke Street acquires Biomnis for EUR 217m
Duke Street has acquired French medical analysis specialist Biomnis in a deal valued at EUR 217m.
Biomnis, formerly Laboratoire Marcel Mérieux, was founded in 1897. The company carries out specialised biological analysis on behalf of laboratories as well as private clinics and public hospitals. The group has two main sites in Lyons and Paris, as well as several other locations across France and in Dublin and Dubai. The company reported turnover of EUR 22m in 2007 and employs over 1,600 people.
