UK - Nigel Beer appointed as Hotbed chairman
Nigel Beer has joined Hotbed, the private investor syndicate, as chairman.
Beer joined the company as a non-executive director 18 months ago following 16 years at KPMG, where he rose to become head of corporate finance and held a position on its national corporate finance board. He also holds an equity stake in Hotbed, which has 550 members who have invested £122m in 56 deals, with a total value of over £500m.
