SWEDEN - Partners of EQT Partners AB increase their ownership by 36%

Partners of EQT Partners have agreed with Investor AB to acquire 36% of the shares in the advisory company EQT Partners AB for SEK 290m. The transaction means that partners of EQT Partners will increase their ownership from the present 33% to 69%, and that Investor AB will remain as owner of remainding 31% of the shares.

The advisory company EQT Partners is an operating company of 130 employees that advises EQT's 11 funds on the companies that are to be acquired and sold and how the companies should be developed. EQT Partners charge 1.5% fees for their advisory services, and during the five last years these fees has generated an annual surplus of approx. SEK 30m.

Investor AB co-founded EQT with in 1994 with AEA and SEB, and the key persons have had an ownership stake in the advisory company EQT Partners AB since 2001.
