Pacific Corporate and Enste team up for cleantech fund
Pacific Corporate Group has joined forces with Norbert Enste, former partner at Bankhaus Metzler, to launch a Europe-based cleantech investment vehicle.
The team will set up a new private equity manager in Frankfurt, focussing on clean technology opportunities in renewable energy and related industries.
PCG and Enste plan to raise $600m in a conventional 10-year structure, aiming to deliver returns of 20% per annum.
The new management company will also set up a fund of funds and $125m buyout fund aimed at smaller technology companies.
