GLOBAL - TPG sale talks collapse
US private equity house TPG Capital has, according to reports, broken off talks to sell a stake of the firm to investors.
The firm, which was also considering an IPO at one point, was hoping to be valued in line with competing private equity firms like Blackstone and Carlyle. It is believed that the parties could not agree on a valuation, given the changes in the market.
