FRANCE - CMS Bureau Francis hires new counsel and future partner

Gutmann, who is a graduate of HEC and holds a doctorate in private law, joins the company from Université Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne, where he teaches domestic, international and comparative tax law and insurance law. He has worked previously as counsel within the IMF Legal Department and has been a member of the European Commission Expert Group on EC law and tax treaties.

Austry is a graduate of Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris and Université Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne, he also attended Ecole Nationale d' Administration for two years. He has published many articles on taxation and served in advisory capacities for the Minister of the Economy, Secretary of State for the Budget, the Treasurer and, most recently, he was financial adviser to the French Embassy's economic mission to Japan.
