UK - Aviva Investors appoints fund manager in London
Aviva Investors has hired Ian Berry as fund manager for the infrastructure and renewable energy sectors.
Berry, who will be based in London, will report to Ben Stirling, managing director of Continental European real estate. Berry will oversee the development of Aviva Investors' infrastructure capability as well as be the fund manager of the Aviva Investors European Renewable Energy fund. He will also be involved in the management of Aviva Investors' existing infrastructure and PFI/PPP investments.
Berry joins Aviva from BlueCrest Capital Management, where he has been an investment director since January 2007, responsible for identifying infrastructure-related investment opportunities in the renewable energy sector. Previously, he worked for Ambac Assurance UK and Deutsche Bank.
