
DENMARK - EQT sells Contex to Ratos for $240m
EQT has agreed to sell Contex Holding , a developer, manufacturer and supplier of innovative 2D and 3D digital image solutions, to Ratos for $250m.
EQT acquired Contex in a take-private transaction in 1999. Since then , EQT has focused on building the 2D/3D image business both through organic growth but also add-ons in new business segments. In 2005 the company acquired Z Corporation and Vidar Systems was acquired in 2002. Since 1999 revenues have grown five-fold to $122m in 2006.
