
NL- Knight Vinke to tender its shares
Knight Vinke Asset Management has given up its opposition to the takeover bid for VNU and has tendered its shares in the company. Earlier this month Templeton, owner of approximately 14.7% in the company, signalled its support, easing the way for a successful takeover. Fidelity Investments, whose funds own about 15 percent of VNU, has not yet announced its decision.
