
GERMANY – Quadriga-backed Tectum acquires Alex & Gross
Quadriga Capital portfolio company Tectum Group, a call centre operator, has acquired sector rival Alex & Gross Group from the management and EKK Dr Engelhardt, Kaupp and Kiefer Unternehmensbeteiligungen GmbH.
This is operator Tectum's first add-on acquisition in the fragmented call centre segment. The company is based in Gelsenkirchen and is 50% owned by Quadriga Group since 2007.
Alex & Gross Communications GmbH is based in Schwetzingen and specialises in telemarketing and telesales outsourcing for B2B customers active in the IT sector. The company has offices in Switzerland, Poland, Bulgaria and Belgium. In 2008, the company achieved a turnover of around EUR 15m.
Together, Tectum and Alex & Gross expect to generate a turnover of EUR 80m.
