
NORDIC - Nordic unquote" honours local players with awards for top achievements
The Nordic region's record year in private equity was celebrated at the inaugural Nordic unquote" Private Equity Awards 2006, sponsored by SEB, at the dinner held at Grand Hotel in Stockholm on 28 November. The event was hosted by Swedish current affairs journalist Ulf Wickbom and around 120 industry professionals attended.

The winners were decided upon by an audit of data from the region plus a prestigious independent panel of advisers comprising Jyrki Tähtinen, Managing Partner of Borenius & Kemppinen, Michael Eriksen, partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Jørgen Kjærnes, Managing partner at Cubera Private Equity, Jonus Bartholdsen, partner at Keystone Advisers and Simon Wakefield, Global Head of Acquisition Finance at SEB Merchant Bank.
