UK - Enterprise Ventures appoints new investment director
Enterprise Ventures has announced the appointment of Wayne Thomas as investment director.
Wayne has been appointed to work alongside Paul Taberner in managing the Coalfields Enterprise Fund, a national venture capital Fund, managed by EV on behalf of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister. The fund provides venture capital funding to high growth companies in the former coalfield regions across England. Previously, Thomas was an investment director with Aberdeen Asset Managers Private Equity, where he had responsibility for investing across the North of England. Prior to that, Thomas was at Ernst & Young Corporate Finance where he advised companies, management teams and investors on a wide range of midmarket transactions.
