UK/US - Denham Capital opens new London office
Denham Capital Management LP, a $2.3bn US private equity fund manager that focuses on energy and commodities, has announced the opening of a new European office in London.
The new office will be headed up by Dr. Louis van Pletsen, who will concentrate on deal origination in Eastern and Western Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. van Pletson joins the company following 3 years with Nomura International, having also previously worked for Credit Suisse First Boston, Eskom and the Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa.
