UK - Ernst & Young appoints new head of private equity
Simon Perry has been appointed to the new role of global private equity leader at Ernst & Young in a move that underlines the growing interest by professional services firms in the buy-out industry, according to the FT.
Perry will continue to be based in London although he will spend some of his time working with colleagues in other parts of the world to develop E&Y's private equity business, which includes corporate finance advice, transactions services such as due diligence and tax.
