UK - Masterson appointed chairman of Montagu
Montagu Private Equity has appointed former CEO Chris Masterson as executive chairman of the UK-based buyout firm.
Jason Gatenby has been promoted and will take Masterson's place as chief executive of the private equity firm.
Masterson joined Montagu in 1991 and has over 18 years experience investing in unquoted companies. Gatenby joined the private equity firm in 2000, havings started his career at 3i in 1990. He became investment director for 3i's southern region in 1997.
