UK - Abingworth sells Clinical Designs
Abingworth has sold medical equipment developer Clinical Designs Ltd to Mundipharma International Corporation Ltd for an undisclosed sum.
Clinical Designs was founded in 1999 by Dr Ray Bacon. It develops devices for drug delivery via the body's airways, with products including a breath-actuated pressurised metered dose inhaler (PMDI) known as the K-HalerTM, and a dose counter known as HelixTM.
