
UK - Barclays Ventures appoints new associate director
Barclays Ventures has announced the appointment of Emma Morris as associate director based at its London office. Emma (28) brings a wide range of experience in mid-market private equity and M&A, and recently completed a six month secondment with Barclays Ventures, where she worked on new investments, exits and portfolio management.
Prior to this, Emma spent two years working in Birmingham at the law firm, DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary, where she was a lead legal adviser for Barclays Ventures.
Kip Kapur, Managing Director of Barclays Ventures, said: 'We are very pleased that Emma has decided to join Barclays Ventures, particularly given her legal experience across a wide range of deals. She will undoubtedly play a significant role in our aim to become the leading firm in the UK for equity investments of £10m or less.'
