SPAIN - MCH, Corpfin and Carlyle compete for tour operator
According to press reports, private equity firms MCH, Corpfin and Carlyle are among the bidders for tour operator Catai Tours.
The auction process for the company, valued at EUR 50m, is being managed by Ernst & Young. The offers were presented last week and the finalists are expected to be announced in the next couple of days. Catai Tours is a prominent player in the Spanish travel industry. It posted a turnover of EUR 112m in 2006, up 29% from 2005.
