FRANCE - AtriA divests Rivard
AtriA Capital Partenaires has exited its holding in portfolio company Rivard, a provider of industrial cleaning machines, in a trade sale to Alamo Group Inc.
Daumeray-based Rivard manufactures sewer cleaning vehicles, high pressure cleaning systems and trenching machines. The company has seen in a 30% increase in revenues over the past five years and generated EUR 60m in 2007, 25% of which was generated abroad. Rivard is active in the emerging markets and will seek to increase its presence in the region under its new ownership. The company was founded in 1991 and has 275 employees.
AtriA purchased Rivard in October 2000 in an LBO deal. The exit will be the private equity houses’ 15th since its creation.
