DENMARK - MACH acquires venture-backed End2End
MACH has today announced its acquisition of Aalborg-based End2End. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Lars Torpe Christoffersen, CEO of MACH, says: 'We are always looking at new ways to meet our clients' needs. This acquisition is the first step in the strategy we are executing with our partner, global private equity investor Warburg Pincus to build a significantly larger business meeting the needs of our mobile operator clients.'
Torpe Christoffersen continues: 'The mobile data industry is already a significant market with large growth potential as the convergence of mobile, wireless and fixed-line technologies evolves. As a leader in its field, there were many interested buyers so we are extremely satisfied that we came out as End2End‘s new partner. With our international scale and their unmatched skills in mobile data delivery we will be able to create synergies and accelerate our growth opportunities in this market together.'
Commenting on the acquisition Peter Langkilde, chairman and co-founder of End2End, says: 'In MACH we have a reliable and firmly positioned partner. They can provide us with the financial support and commitment to develop further and grow our business in the global market for outsourced mobile data solutions.'
He adds: 'Our companies share similar business models delivering managed services, as well as the same target client base, giving MACH a natural understanding of the key elements for success in our business. This is a great step forward for both End2End’s customers and employees.'
End2End’s managed service solutions are powering the delivery of data services and content to end-users across more than 50 mobile operators in over 20 countries on five continents. Its turnkey connectivity solutions allow companies to connect quickly and easily to multiple mobile operator SMS/MMS environments.
