
UK - Amadeus Capital portfolio company Cambridge Broadband appoints new chairman
Cambridge Broadband, a developer of carrier-class cellular backhaul solutions backed by Amadeus Capital, Accel Partners, TVM Capital and Adara Ventures has appointed John Cronin as the company's new chairman. He succeeds Herman Hauser, a founding partner of Amadeus. Cronin has over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Most recently, he held the role of founder, president and CEO of Azure Solutions, a 2003 spin-out from BT specialising in revenue assurance for telecommunications companies which is backed by Doughty Hanson Technology Ventures, amongst others. Azure, now merged with Subex into Subexazure, has operations throughout the world, including in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
