Former SAP CEO to launch tech fund
Former SAP CEO Leo Apotheker is planning to launch a new private equity fund focusing on investments in European software, telecommunications and IT companies.
The fund will be managed by Apotheker and two unnamed European partners that have been involved in the service and telecommunications industries. It will raise money for each investment and is expected to launch in September or October.
Apotheker resigned as CEO of SAP in February following reported customer and employee discontent.
