SWEDEN - Mercer expands its Nordic investment consulting operations
Mercer Investment Consulting has announced that it is expanding its Nordic operations with three new senior appointments. Jonas Arsjö, Niclas Sundberg and Krister Carlsson, previously directors of MPIR Investment Services AB, join Mercer today.
'In 2005 we experienced strong demand in the Nordic markets, which we believe have substantial growth potential,' says Nicolai Berg, Nordic head of Mercer Investment Consulting. 'We are committed to building critical mass and enhancing our knowledge and research of the local investment market to better serve clients of all sizes,' he adds.
The directors of MPIR Investment Services AB, previously the second largest local consultant in the Nordics market, give Mercer a strong presence in Sweden, building on its existing teams of Nordic experts in Norway and London. Mercer, which moved to a single pan-European business structure in 2005, has developed local investment consulting presence in ten European countries.
