UK - Norton Rose appoints investment funds partner
International law firm Norton Rose LLP has hired Michael Newell as partner of the investment funds team in London.
Newell joins from DLA Piper, where he also worked as partner of their investment funds group.
Prior to this, he spent four years at Freshfields, where he specialised in hedge funds and other alternative investment funds and structured products. He was also a corporate broker for closed-ended investment funds at Merrill Lynch International.
