UK - Morrison a possible target for Texas Pacific, CVC and Permira
The Observer reported yesterday that private equity groups are weighing up an offer for supermarket group WM Morrison.
The £6bn bid may come as Texas Pacific, CVC and Permira believe that Morrison has potential to grow under improved management. As current chairman Sir Ken Morrison takes more of a back-seat role, sources suggest there may be a power vacuum at the top of the company.
