Logic Control sold to Sage Group
The Sage Group Plc has agreed to acquire Logic Control S.A., a vendor of business management software in Spain, for an enterprise value of approximately £55m, paid in cash. The deal represents an exit for InvestIndustrial, Sagitta and B&S. The acquisition is expected to complete by the end of July 2005.
Logic Control’s revenue for the year ended 31 December 2004 was £28.2m and its operating profit was £3.8m. At 31 December 2004 it had net assets of £20.6m.
The acquisition of Logic Control significantly expands Sage’s coverage of the Spanish small to medium-sized business market. Logic Control brings additional and more advanced solutions for medium-sized customers in Spain, complementing the small business solutions of our existing Spanish business.
