GLOBAL - KKR delays listing
Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co (KKR) has delayed its plans to go public for a second time this year, blaming the current market conditions.
KKR announced its intention to go public in July 2007, before a new offering plan was announced in July of this year. The deal was to see KKR acquire the Amsterdam-listed vehicle KKR Private Equity Investors and merge it with the parent company, with the combined entity then being listed on the New York Stock Exchange. It is likely the transaction will now be postponed until 2009.
