SPAIN - Nazca buys stake in e-learning business
Nazca Capital has purchased a 45% shareholding in eduactional consulting and e-learning business élogos from its founding family Baratech. The founders will retain the majority stake.
The private equity fund expects to double the company's turnover - currently nearing EUR 36m - by 2010. To that end, the business plan will focus on organic growth as well as add-on acquisitions across Spain. élogos has approximately 250 permanent employees and 200 seasonal staff working on the provision of e-learning services to Spanish and international companies, as well as public administration bodies. Its client list includes Telefónica, Repsol, Vodafone, BBVA, Santander, Ford and others.
