BELGIUM - GIMV sells five holdings to Becap
GIMV and Halder IV, which is owned by GIMV's subsidiary Halder, have sold five minority shareholdings to BECAP, a fund specialising in secondary transactions. The sales have had a negative impact of -EUR 800,000 on GIMV’s last equity value.
The shareholdings comprised: Gaelan, a German PVC window frame manufacturer; Wichard, a French manufacturer and distributer of hardware for sailing boats and for the medical, automotive and aeronautic industries; GHE, an Italian supplier of components for urban buses, coaches and trucks; Les Margerides, a French producer of blades and accessories for lawnmowers and agricultural machines; and Bopack, a Belgian provider of industrial labelling solutions.
GHE, Les Margerides and Bopack are the last remaining portfolio companies of Halder IV, which is now fully divested, while the other investments were held on GIMV's own balance sheet.
