
CEE - ICG appoints head for Central and Eastern Europe
European mezzanine specialist Intermediate Capital Group has appointed Aleksander Marcin Ferenc as assistant director responsible for originating and executing deals in Central and Eastern Europe. Prior to joining ICG, he was investment director at Baring Corilius, manager of the EUR 86m Baring Central European Fund. ICG has already completed one deal in Poland by participating in the Mid Europa Partners-led PLn 1.6bn buyout of Warsaw-based Aster City Cable last year.
