UK - Risk Capital Partners acquires Patisserie Valerie

Risk Capital Partners has acquired a majority stake in London's famous upmarket patisserie chain Patisserie Valerie. The acquisition has been made with a view to expanding the business and taking it national. The company has revenues in excess of ТЃ8m.

Risk Capital Partners is the private equity fund belonging to Luke Johnson, who will become chairman of the company as a result of the deal. The current owners of the company will retain minority stakes in it. Patisserie Valerie operates from 10 sites in central London including Marylebone, Chelsea, Kensington and Piccadilly.
