
GERMANY - Neuhaus Partners exits Gentleware
Neuhaus Partners GmbH has sold Gentleware AG to software house b+m Informatik AG. The transaction value has not been disclosed, but company founder Dr Marko Boger remains invested with a 25% stake.
Dr Marko Boger founded Gentleware in 2000. Seed capital was provided by NIB Norddeutsche Innovations- und Beteiligungsgesellschaft, Hamburg. In 2003 Neuhaus Partners made its first investment in the company and followed it up with an additional round in 2005. Gentleware has a strong basis in the open source project ArgoUML. In addition to the product line "Poseidon for UML", the firm also offers training and consulting as well as tool customisation for high productivity software engineering.
