UK - Dow Schofield Watts holds first close of maiden fund

The fund will be capped at £10m and will be open to external investors. The existing commitments were made from partners at Dow Schofield Wats, Lord Daresbury and more than 20 high net worth individuals.

The fund will make initial investments of £250,000 to £1m and has aready completed two transactions: Specialist Parking Services, an integrated services provider to local authorities and police forces; and Christopher Rodgers, a provider of energy performance certificates to the property sector, in which PHD co-invested in alongside Mosaic Private Equity.
