
GLOBAL - HarbourVest closes secondary fund on $2.9bn
HarbourVest Partners has held a final close of Dover Street VII LP, a global secondary fund, on $2.9bn.
Dover VII makes secondary investments in venture capital, leveraged buyout, and other private equity funds, as well as portfolios of operating companies.
197 institutional investors committed capital to Dover VII, including corporate and public pensions, endowments, and foundations located in the US, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
HarbourVest's has completed transactions ranging from less than $10m to more than $1bn in size with all types of sellers, including financial institutions, corporations, pension plans, governmental entities, endowments, and family offices.
